Sana'a, Yemen - In a recent development, military sources have confirmed the interception and downing of a Houthi-operated "winged" drone in the northeastern province of Jawf, Yemen. The Houthis, designated as a terrorist organization by the United States and several other nations, have been the focus of intense military operations.

According to the media center of the armed forces, the defense systems of army forces in the Sixth Military Region successfully neutralized the Houthi drone within the Al-Hazm district, located at the heart of Jawf province. The drone's intended trajectory was aimed at military positions in the northeastern sector known as "Huwaishan," situated just outside the city of Al-Hazm. However, swift action from the army defenses thwarted the potential threat.
