Hundreds of Yemenis rallied in the city of Marib on Friday, condemning the ongoing Israeli "genocide" against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and calling for an immediate end to the conflict.

The protesters, who gathered in the heart of Marib, waved Palestinian and Yemeni flags and chanted slogans denouncing the "genocide" and Israel's raids and arrests in the West Bank.

"Barran Press" correspondent reported that the protesters also condemned what they described as the "lax" international response to the plight of the Palestinian people.

The rally participants urged Arab nations to take a stronger stance in supporting the Palestinian resistance, facilitating the delivery of life-saving aid, and immediately halting the Israeli aggression. They also lauded the bravery and resilience of the Palestinian resistance in the face of Israel's devastating war machine.

For the eighth consecutive month, Marib has witnessed solidarity events with the Palestinian people, who are enduring a brutal and destructive war waged by Israel with unprecedented American and Western support.

These protests have drawn participants from all walks of life, including citizens from various social and political backgrounds, civil society organizations, and university and college students.

On Thursday, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault on the Strip had risen to 35,800, with 80,011 injured.

Despite orders from the International Court of Justice in January calling for Israel to take measures to prevent "genocide" and improve the humanitarian situation in the besieged Gaza Strip, Israel continues its devastating war. The Strip, home to approximately 2.3 million Palestinians, has been under siege for 18 years.
