The first medical conference hosted by Saba Region University, a culmination of eight months of meticulous preparation, was inaugurated today. Dr. Mohammed Al-Qadasi, the university's president, highlighted the extensive efforts undertaken by the organizing committees, including the preparatory committee and its subcommittees for operations, media, technical aspects, and relations.

Speaking to Barran Press, Dr. Al-Qadasi emphasized the dedication of the committees in reaching out to researchers, receiving and reviewing submitted research papers, and ultimately ensuring the successful execution of the conference.

He further explained that this marks the second scientific conference organized by the university, with the first taking place on May 25, 2022. However, this medical conference stands out for its specialized focus.

Dr. Al-Qadasi emphasized the significance of the conference, particularly due to the notable attendees, including Sultan Al-Arada, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, as well as the presidents of Sana'a, Abyan, and Dhamar universities.

The conference, organized by the Faculty of Medicine at Saba Region University in partnership with the Yemeni Medical Specialties Council in Marib, commenced today in Marib.
