The distinguished award was presented to "Al-Aidarous" by Abdul Khaleq Al-Zaherni, the Director General of the Ministry of Information Branch in the revered Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region. The ceremony took place in Jeddah, where Al-Aidarous emerged as the victor among five esteemed commentators shortlisted by the award's supervisory committee.
Born in the southeastern Yemeni city of Tarim Hadramaut, Hassan Al-Aidarous is a celebrated journalist and sports commentator. Currently lending his expertise as a sports commentator on the Arabic beIN Sports channels, Al-Aidarous embarked on his career as a commentator on the Republic of Yemen Radio back in 2005. In 2012, he transitioned to Al Jazeera Sports Channels, now known as beIN Sports, where he continues to excel to this day.
