Marib City, located in northeastern Yemen, witnessed a protest rally on Friday, June 7, 2024, where hundreds of citizens participated to denounce the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement obtained by "Barran Press," the protesters emphasized that this rally serves as an extension and continuation of the solidarity activities and protests that have persisted since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, driven by a sense of duty to support the Palestinian people.
The statement strongly condemned the continuous acts of genocide against the Palestinian people and the international community's silence in the face of these crimes. It called on the international community to take action to prevent further Israeli aggression and additional genocide crimes against the displaced individuals from the Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah.
The statement also urged free nations to increase their solidarity and continuous support for the Palestinian people to halt the daily massacres they endure. It praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the heroic resistance they have displayed in defending their land and sanctities.
For the ninth consecutive month, Marib City has been witnessing solidarity events with the Palestinian people and the brutal war they are subjected to by the Israeli occupation, with unprecedented Western and American support.

itutions.
