The Ministry of Industry and Trade in the city of Marib, eastern Yemen, seized a quantity of expired dairy products on Saturday, June 8th, 2024.

The ministry's director, Majid Sha'lan, stated that field teams from the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the city of Marib apprehended the expired goods in a commercial warehouse located on Serwah Street.

Shalan explained that the action was taken after the ministry received a complaint from a citizen. The ministry's teams immediately responded, seized the expired goods, and documented them for legal proceedings and eventual destruction.

The ministry issued a report against the violator, documenting the seized expired dairy products. The ministry urged citizens to report any violations to their office via WhatsApp at 772792545.

This incident follows previous inspections conducted by the ministry in local markets to identify and seize expired, smuggled, or illegally manufactured goods. These goods are then documented and destroyed in coordination with relevant authorities in the district and province.
