A deadly explosion in the Al-Husun area, east of Ma'rib city, has claimed the life of one civilian and injured three others, according to local sources spoke to Barran Press. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, June 23, 2024.
Initial reports suggest that an explosive device detonated beneath a motorcycle, killing the driver and injuring three passersby with shrapnel. While some sources believe the explosion was caused by a roadside bomb, others suspect a Houthi missile strike.
The injured have been identified as Ali Mohammed Ghassan, Ali Mohammed Hadid, and Abdulqawi Saleh Al-Hawani. The identity of the deceased motorcyclist remains unknown.
Local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
