Shae'a al-Zendani, Yemen's Foreign Minister and Minister of Expatriate Affairs in the internationally recognized government, arrived in Cairo on Monday, June 24, for an official visit.
According to the official Yemeni news agency Saba, al-Zendani will co-chair the current round of strategic dialogue between Yemen and Egypt with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
The sessions are scheduled to begin on Tuesday and continue for two days, starting with a meeting of senior officials. This meeting will be attended by Yemen's Ambassador to Egypt, Khaled Bahah, and Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, Ambassador Mohamed El-Badry.
During his visit, al-Zendani will also discuss bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, according to Saba.
The first round of strategic dialogue between Yemen and Egypt was initiated in 1998. This dialogue serves as a crucial platform for exploring avenues of cooperation and consultation on all matters of concern to both countries.
