Marib Hospitals Treat Over 7,600 Patients During Eid al-Adha Holiday

The Public Health and Population Office in Marib Governorate has reported that government hospitals designated for on-call services during the Eid al-Adha holiday period treated over 7,651 patients, including 1,114 emergency cases.

According to a report from the office's operations room, the on-call hospitals performed 79 surgical procedures, delivered 162 babies, and provided incubator services for 38 infants. Outpatient clinics received 6,537 patients, while 110 patients received dialysis treatment.

The report further indicates that the hospitals conducted 5,266 examinations, including X-rays, endoscopies, and laboratory tests, as well as electrocardiograms.

The hospitals also provided medical care to 458 patients with various injuries, including 86 traffic accident victims, 72 fall-related injuries, 20 gunshot wounds, 190 cases of food poisoning, 46 burns and wounds, 24 criminal injuries, and 20 work-related injuries. Sadly, 7 individuals died in traffic accidents.
