A Yemeni man has tragically died of thirst while traveling through the desert between Shabwah and Hadhramaut governorates, local sources reported on Wednesday.

The sources, speaking to "Barran Press," identified the deceased as Mohsen Mohammed Al-Hamed. They stated that Al-Hamed, along with his family, departed from Jardan district in Shabwah on Tuesday, heading towards Seiyun in Hadhramaut via the desert road. They lost their way in the vast wilderness.

After losing contact with Al-Hamed and his family, concerned individuals tracked their vehicle and found it stranded in the desert. Al-Hamed's wife and children were found alive inside the vehicle.

However, Al-Hamed was not with his family. Upon searching, he was found deceased in a remote area, having ventured away from the vehicle in search of help.

This tragic incident highlights the dangers of traveling through the unforgiving desert terrain, especially during the harsh summer months.
