In a dramatic turn of events, the commander of the Taiz Military Axis, Brigadier General Khaled Fadl, has ordered a security operation to apprehend his brother, Farouk Fadl, who is accused of murder in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz Governorate.

The Taiz Military Axis media center announced the order on Saturday, June 29th, stating that the commander directed the Axis Chief of Staff to swiftly deploy a security force to capture Farouk Fadl and bring him to justice.

General Fadl reportedly received information that his brother had committed a "heinous crime" and condemned the act as "unacceptable and universally condemned." He appealed to the elders, dignitaries, and residents of Jabal Habashi to cooperate with the security operation, urging them to assist in apprehending Farouk Fadl and delivering him to the authorities for due process.

Local media outlets, citing security sources, reported that Farouk Fadl, along with his armed associates, abducted a local resident, Mohammed Abduljalil Al-Rashdi, after Friday prayers in a village in Jabal Habashi. The sources claim that Farouk Fadl subsequently murdered Al-Rashdi, though the motive behind the crime remains unclear.

This unprecedented move by the Taiz Military Commander highlights the gravity of the alleged crime and underscores the commitment to justice, even when it involves a close family member. The incident has sent shockwaves through the region, raising questions about the motivations behind the murder and the potential ramifications for the security situation in Taiz.
