A Houthi delegation, designated as a terrorist organization by the international community, departed Sana'a International Airport on Saturday, June 29th, to participate in consultations in Muscat, according to aviation sources at the airport.

The sources told Barran Press that the delegation departed on Saturday evening aboard a UN aircraft, heading to the Omani capital to engage in the upcoming round of consultations.

The new round of consultations, facilitated by the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, is set to begin on Sunday, June 30th, in Muscat, focusing on the issue of prisoners and detainees.

On Friday, June 28th, the Presidential Leadership Council convened an extraordinary meeting to discuss "arrangements for holding the consultations round in Muscat," according to the official Yemeni news agency Saba.

The Council emphasized its commitment to "supporting efforts and initiatives aimed at ending the suffering of detainees, abductees, and those who have disappeared, and reuniting them with their families based on the principle of 'all for all,' with priority given to the release of politician Mohammed Qahtan, who is subject to a UN Security Council resolution."
