The Deputy Governor of Marib for Administrative Affairs, Abdullah Al-Bakri, launched a training program on Monday for 105 government employees and local organization staff in the governorate. The program will last 40 days and cover seven different administrative fields.

The CARE International office is implementing the program in collaboration with the General Directorate of Research and Training at the governorate's office. It aims to enhance the administrative and professional capabilities of the targeted employees.

Al-Bakri emphasized the importance of such programs in strengthening the partnership between the local authority and local organizations to achieve development and reconstruction goals. He highlighted the need to address the significant gap in the needs of displaced persons and the host community and the decline in international and UN interventions in the governorate.

He stressed that the skills and knowledge acquired by the trainees should be reflected in their practical work and contribute to improving performance in participating executive offices. This, he said, would ultimately improve the quality of services provided.

The Director General of the General Directorate of Research and Training, Jamal Al-Jaafari, and CARE International representative, Najat Al-Sufyani, explained that the program encompasses seven administrative fields: administrative skills, effective negotiation skills, humanitarian work principles, protection and gender, psychological support, monitoring and evaluation, local organization systems, project management, and fundraising for civil society.
