Heavy and medium weapons fire erupted between two tribes in Al-Jawf governorate (northeastern Yemen) on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, according to tribal sources.
The sources told "Barran Press" that the clashes broke out between the Hamdan and Sholan tribes in the district of Al-Hazm, the center of Al-Jawf governorate.
The sources reported that the clashes resulted in the death of a young man, Abdullah Mohammed Mabkhout Al-Qahawqa. They confirmed that the fighting was ongoing at the time of reporting (4:00 PM).
The cause of the clashes between the two tribes remains unclear.
