The Yemeni Ministry of Information, recognized by the international community, announced the passing of prominent broadcaster Najib Fadl on Friday, July 12, 2024. Fadl died in the city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut, southeastern Yemen.

In a statement published by the official Yemeni news agency Saba, the ministry described Fadl as a pioneer in Yemeni media and broadcasting. He previously served as Director General of News at Aden Radio's Second Program.
