Security forces in the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen, successfully thwarted a car theft and recovered the vehicle 48 hours after receiving a report of the crime, security sources reported on Sunday, July 14th, 2024.
According to sources speaking to "Bran Press," a joint effort between security forces and local residents in Marib led to the recovery of the vehicle belonging to citizen Mohammed Hassan Bare'a, which had been stolen from in front of his home in the Al-Khair district, north of the city.
The sources revealed that the car was found parked on a street in Marib city on Sunday afternoon. The thieves had failed to escape the city after security authorities received reports of the theft at 2:30 PM on Friday, July 12th.
