Seven individuals were admitted for ongoing medical care, while eight others were released after their conditions improved.
Saudi weather expert Waleed Al-Haqil warned about the potential for dust storms in the same region via his official account on the social media platform X.

"According to the American Meteorological Observatory, the Rein-Bisha highway, the Wadi Dawaser-Khamis Mushait highway, eastern Asir, eastern Baha, and eastern Taif will experience dusty winds over the next ten days," he wrote.
Al-Haqil advised drivers to use a "car front protector" and drive cautiously when encountering dust.
