The body of Colonel Ali Abdullah Al-Shehri, Deputy Head of the Supply and Logistics Department in the Sixth Military Region, was laid to rest in the city of Marib on Saturday, July 27th, 2024.

According to the website "September Net," affiliated with the Yemeni Armed Forces, Al-Shehri died while fulfilling his national duty in defense of the revolution, the republic, and national gains. The specific front where he fell was not disclosed.

The official and public funeral procession was attended by Major General Khaled Al-Ashoul, Head of Operations, and other military leaders from the Sixth Military Region. Crowds of mourners, including the deceased's family, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms, participated in the ceremony.

Those present praised Al-Shehri's character, his national stances, and his significant sacrifices in the sacred national battle against the Houthi group, backed by the Iranian regime.

The mourners vowed to "follow in the footsteps of the righteous martyrs of the homeland until every inch of the nation is liberated from the Houthi terrorist group, and all national goals for which they sacrificed and gave their precious blood are achieved."
