Young Yemeni boxer Adam Hamid has secured his second professional victory, defeating Bulgarian opponent Georgi Velishkov in a four-round bout at the renowned O2 Arena in London on Saturday, July 27th.

According to the boxing news website Boxing Scene, Hamid, the son of boxing legend Naseem Hamid, dominated Velishkov throughout the fight, winning by points.

Hamid utilized his height and reach advantage in the first round, keeping the smaller Velishkov at bay. This pattern continued into the second round, with Velishkov remaining hesitant to engage while Hamid used his long arms to box from a distance.

In the third round, Hamid increased his pace, as the 36-year-old Velishkov seemed unfazed by his work rate. The fourth round proved to be Hamid's strongest, with the young boxer applying pressure before referee Sean McAvoy declared him the winner by a score of 40-36.

This marked Hamid's first fight in 11 months and his first since joining trainer Jimmy Moore. The 23-year-old now boasts a 2-0 professional record.
