The Saudi Cabinet has approved a memorandum of cooperation with Yemen in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, and money laundering, according to a statement released on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024.
The agreement, signed between the Public Prosecution Offices of both countries, was approved during a Cabinet meeting held in Jeddah, presided over by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the agreement aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in exchanging information and expertise, as well as developing procedures and activities related to combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and associated organized crimes.
The agreement is expected to strengthen the collaborative efforts between Saudi Arabia and Yemen in tackling these transnational threats.
