Sana'a, the Yemeni capital, experienced the highest rainfall in the past 24 hours, according to the National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning (NCMEW). The center also issued a warning for heavy thunderstorms across ten governorates in the coming hours.

The NCMEW's daily bulletin, reviewed by "Barran Press," reported that the rainfall recorded in the past 24 hours at various weather stations was as follows: Sana'a (71.8 mm), Al-Mahwit (55.2 mm), Ibb (47 mm), Sa'ada (21.1 mm), Dhamar (17.5 mm), Amran (16.7 mm), and Raymah (13.9 mm).

The NCMEW predicted continued unstable weather conditions across most of Yemen, with heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds expected in parts of Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Remah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale'e, Tihama Plain, and the western coast.

Moderate to heavy thunderstorms are also anticipated in parts of Mahrah, Hadramaut, Shabwa, Al-Bayda, the highlands of Abyan, Lahj, Al-Jawf, and Marib. Scattered showers with occasional thunderstorms are expected in parts of the deserts and the southern and eastern coasts.

The NCMEW cautioned citizens in areas expected to receive rainfall to avoid valleys and flood channels, seek shelter from thunderstorms and strong winds, and be wary of hail.

The center also advised drivers on mountain roads to be cautious due to reduced visibility caused by rainfall and dense cumulus clouds and to be aware of potential landslides and rockfalls.

The NCMEW urged relevant government agencies to take necessary measures to protect lives and property and to monitor its bulletins and reports.
