Al-Alimi emphasized that "Taiz will remain a pillar of the national project, a cradle of change, and a capital of resilience, as it has demonstrated over years of unjust siege imposed by the Houthi terrorist militias."

He highlighted that his meetings with the local authority leadership, relevant agencies, and community figures in the governorate would "always focus on strengthening livelihoods, improving services, and mobilizing all energies to serve the goal of liberation."

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council commended the humanitarian and development interventions of the coalition supporting legitimacy led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Taiz governorate, acknowledging their positive impact across all levels.

"Barran Press" correspondent said, "Al-Alimi arrived in Taiz accompanied by members of the Presidential Leadership Council, Othman Majli and Abdullah Al-Alimi, and a number of officials.

The visit, which was met with a large public welcome, aimed to assess the security, economic, and living conditions in the governorate amidst the siege and after 10 years of war. The visit is expected to include the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for a diesel-powered power plant project, supported by the Saudi Program for the Reconstruction and Development of Yemen.

Following his arrival in the city, Al-Alimi launched a package of vital development projects in Taiz governorate (southwestern Yemen), funded by the Saudi Program for the Reconstruction and Development of Yemen.
