According to the official Yemeni news agency, Saba, the Prime Minister's decision followed a visit to the explosion site where he assessed the damage, investigated the incident, and listened to accounts from citizens and relevant authorities. He also emphasized the need for preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

The investigative committee, headed by the Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil and Gas Corporation, will include representatives from the Ministries of Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Justice, Interior (Civil Defense Department), and the General Administration of Forensic Evidence, as well as the local authority in Aden Governorate.

The committee is tasked with investigating the circumstances of the gas station explosion in Mansoura, Aden, and submitting a report with its findings and recommendations to the Prime Minister within five days.

The agency reported that Prime Minister bin Mubarak also instructed the Central Audit and Accountability Authority to dispatch a team of experts to the Yemeni Gas Company to review all gas station licenses issued from 2016 to date.

Bin Mubarak's directive stressed the need for the audit team to verify the compliance of the issued gas station licenses with the legal standards and requirements.
