According to the official Yemeni news agency Saba, the young team will compete at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa and the Polo Stadium in Amman, aiming to defend their title after winning the 10th edition in Salalah, Oman, last year.
The agency reported that the team roster consists of 23 players under the leadership of coach Samer Fadl, who also led the team to victory last year.
The young Yemeni squad will play their first match on Monday against Oman in Group B, which also includes Saudi Arabia.
The U-17 team had two training camps in Loder, Abyan province, and Mukalla, Hadhramaut province, where they played six friendly matches against Hadhramaut clubs, winning five and drawing one.
