Hadhramaut, Yemen - Two young men who went missing four days ago after their car became stuck in the Empty Quarter desert in Hadhramaut governorate (eastern Yemen) were found dead on Sunday, September 1st, 2024.
Local sources told "Barran Press" that tribesmen from the Hadhramaut desert were able to locate the missing men, Saleh bin Ayda bin Haythul al-Amri and Hassan bin Hashhash al-Manahili. The two men were found dead after their Toyota Fortuner car became trapped in the sand dunes of the Empty Quarter.
Sources confirmed that the search operation began on August 29th, 2024, when contact was lost with the two men. The search involved a large number of tribesmen from the Awamir, Manaheel, and Hadhramaut desert regions. The men were found dead from dehydration after their water supply ran out.
