Marib local authority stresses the importance of technical and vocational education to meet market needs and desired development in the governorate

 The local authority in Marib has underscored its commitment to technical and vocational education, stressing the need for its development and expansion as a cornerstone for meeting the labor market's demand for skilled and trained workforce and for the province's reconstruction and development plans.

This emphasis was made during the launch of entrance exams for a new batch of students at the Industrial Vocational Institute for both male and female students. The exams were inaugurated by Marib Deputy Governor "Dr. Abd Rabbu Miftah" and Deputy Director of the Technical and Vocational Education Office in the province, "Naji Muftah." A total of 65 students are vying for spots in the computer and electrical engineering programs.

Deputy Governor Miftah inspected the preparations for the entrance exams, highlighting the crucial role of technical and vocational education in equipping young men and women with practical skills and trades.

He emphasized its contribution to reducing unemployment and expanding job opportunities for youth both domestically and internationally. He stressed that their acquired scientific and practical qualifications will empower them to build their futures and improve their families' livelihoods.
