Major General Sagheer bin Aziz, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army, emphasized the crucial role of youth in the fight against the Houthi movement, highlighting the significance of collective weddings.

His remarks came during a mass wedding ceremony for 140 grooms from the army and local resistance forces hailing from Dhammar, currently residing in Marib. The event was covered by a reporter from Barran Press, where bin Aziz expressed gratitude to the Governor of Marib, Sheikh Sultan al-Aradah, for his support of such events across the provinces.

Bin Aziz announced, “Upcoming celebrations will take place in the capital, Sana'a,” expressing his happiness to attend the collective wedding and share in the joy of the people from Dhammar.

He noted that Dhammar has played a significant and active role in the battle against the Houthi movement, which is internationally designated as a terrorist organization. “This large gathering of Dhammar residents is a testament to the strength, effort, and dedication toward the success of our fight against the Houthis,” he added.

He further stated, “The youth are our hope for revitalizing Yemen and elevating it to the ranks of developed nations. We must succeed in our struggle to restore security and stability to the country.” He congratulated the newlyweds and thanked everyone who supported the event.

The mass wedding in Marib was organized by the Supreme Council for Resistance in Dhammar and featured a festive atmosphere, with significant attendance from the grooms' families, friends, military leaders, and civilians.
