A military official in the Yemeni army announced on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, that the disbursement of King Salman's "grant" to active military and security personnel will begin on Thursday, September 12.

Brigadier General Abdul Latif al-Awadhi, head of the disbursement committees for King Salman's "grant," stated in a press release seen by "Bran Press" that the committees will commence their work in the disbursement process on Thursday morning in the third, sixth, and seventh military regions, as well as independent bodies, agencies, and security forces.

Al-Awadhi explained that the "grant" comprises four installments for the months of April, May, June, and July of 2024. He expressed gratitude for the efforts and follow-up of the member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, Sultan al-Arada, Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen al-Da'ari, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz.

On August 22, the committees had initiated the disbursement process for King Salman's "grant" to members of the social welfare department, including martyrs, wounded, and disabled personnel of the Yemeni army.

The disbursement process encompassed all martyrs, wounded, and disabled individuals with complete documentation submitted to the disbursement committee. It included four installments for the months of April, May, June, and July of 2024, amounting to 1,183,200 Yemeni riyals for officers and 788,800 riyals for enlisted personnel.
