Mohamed al-Yadoumi, head of the Yemeni Islah Party's Supreme Council, has called for a united front against the Houthi rebels, urging all political and social forces, as well as official institutions, to shoulder their constitutional, legal, and moral responsibilities.

In a video address marking the 34th anniversary of the Islah Party, al-Yadoumi urged all parties to overcome past problems and disagreements within the republican ranks and unify their national ranks. He also called on political partners to redouble their efforts and coordinate positions to help Yemen emerge from its crisis, preserve its national identity, and safeguard the gains of the glorious September 26 and October 14 revolutions.

Al-Yadoumi emphasized the importance of achieving national goals and restoring the state, saying that the justice of the cause for which Yemenis have been fighting for 10 years to restore the state, and the magnitude of the sacrifices they have made under the leadership of legitimacy and its institutions in resisting the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group's coup, obligates the people of Yemen, its political forces, and its legitimate institutions to continue on the path to achieving national goals, restoring the state, ending the coup, and the rebellion by all legitimate means.

He reiterated the party's support for all efforts to achieve peace and stability, stressing that the acceptable peace that the Yemeni people desire and that meets their aspirations and respects their sacrifices is a just peace based on the three references.

Al-Yadoumi stated that a just peace that guarantees the non-repetition of wars can only be achieved by disarming the Houthi terrorist militia that threatens security and stability in Yemen and the region, and by considering its possession of weapons as an exclusive right of the state and its official institutions.

He called on all Yemenis to cooperate, bond, and rally behind legitimacy and its constitutional institutions, considering this a great task undertaken by free souls and sincere wills.

Al-Yadoumi condemned the Houthi's continued disregard for peace opportunities, their failure to adhere to the truce, and their continued escalation on the battlefield and military preparations. He said this reveals the truth of their stance against peace.

He stressed the importance of building a peace project capable of forcing the Houthi militia and its Iranian sponsor to respect the national will and regional and international initiatives. He added that this can only be achieved by directing the priorities of the legitimate institutions towards supporting the armed forces, security, and resistance, and providing them with their requirements.

Al-Yadoumi emphasized the release of all detainees, including prominent figure Qahtaan, as a crucial step towards any peace process. He urged all institutions and human rights and media organizations to intensify efforts to bring the issue of detainees and those forcibly disappeared to the attention of the international community and human rights organizations.

He called on the government to provide all forms of care to the families of detainees, to work quickly to release them and to annul the decisions of physical liquidation taken by the Houthi terrorist militia against some of them. He reiterated his condemnation of the Houthi terrorist militia's practices of kidnapping international organization employees, activists, and opinion leaders in areas under their control.

Al-Yadoumi highlighted the Islah Party's contribution to deepening political pluralism, and democratic approaches and expanding the base of national partnership. He considers the Reform Party one of the most important political pillars in supporting the state and its national institutions in protecting the gains of the revolution and the republic at various junctures with all free Yemenis and their political forces.

He addressed the Reform Party's stance against the return of the new Imamate represented by the Houthi terrorist group and its coup against the state and national consensus. He said the Islah Party declared its firm position rejecting the coup and rebellion, siding with the state and legitimacy... and dedicating its capabilities and resources to serving the national goals for which all free Yemenis are fighting.

He added that the Islah Party paid a heavy price for standing on the right side of history, on the side of the homeland, and legitimacy supported by Yemen's brothers and friends to restore the state and end the Houthi coup and rebellion.

He reiterated his strong condemnation of terrorist operations in all their forms and manifestations, calling on the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to support security and the armed forces, and to develop official state institutions to enable them to confront terrorist threats, security breaches, kidnappings, and political assassinations.
