The Public Health and Population Office in Marib province, northeastern Yemen, received land documents on September 22 for the construction of a health unit, donated by businessman Sheikh Muhammad Al-Kharaz.

Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Al-Kharaz formally handed over the original land deed, certified by the Marib court, to Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, the Director General of the Health Office, in a ceremony attended by Deputy Governor Abdullah Al-Bakri and the Assistant Director General of the Governor’s Office, Abdul-Rahman Halais.

Both Al-Bakri and Dr. Al-Abadi expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Al-Kharaz for his ongoing support of the health sector in the province and his continuous contributions to public service projects.

The donated land, measuring 280 square meters, is located east of the old airport, adjacent to Ibn Saud Mosque in the Rawabi neighborhood of Marib.

Last month, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Al-Kharaz also donated a plot of land for the establishment of a cancer treatment center in Marib.
