Local Authorities in Marib Launch Rural Water Project in Al-Rumaila Camp

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Dr. Ali Hathal, Director General of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects in Marib province, inaugurated a rural water project at the Al-Rumaila displacement camp in the Marib Valley district. The project was implemented by the Al-Manara Development Foundation in partnership with the Humanitarian and Development Coalition Foundation.

The initiative includes the drilling of a well, the installation of a pump, the construction of a control room, and the maintenance of the water distribution network within the camp, with a total cost of 100,000 Saudi riyals.

During the inauguration, Dr. Hathal, accompanied by the water cluster coordinator at the Executive Unit in Marib, Arafa Al-Sabari, received a brief overview from Basem Al-Jabarti, head of the Humanitarian and Development Coalition Foundation. They discussed the project's components and its impact, benefiting approximately 2,867 individuals. Both officials praised the contributions of the two organizations in supporting the water sector.
