On Monday, September 30, 2024, Ibrahim Haidan, Yemen's internationally recognized Minister of Interior, commended the achievements of the security and police forces in Marib province, located in northeastern Yemen. His remarks came during a series of field visits to various security branches, including the Special Security Forces and the Emergency Police.

Accompanied by the ministry's Undersecretary, Mohammed Salem Bin Aboud, Haidan highlighted the success of Marib's security apparatus in thwarting Houthi and allied terrorist groups' disruptive plans that threaten public safety.

During his visits, Haidan engaged with leaders and officers from the three security branches to discuss the current security situation, their national and humanitarian missions, and the implementation of security plans set by the local security committee. He listened to their challenges, needs, and levels of training and preparedness.

He emphasized that training and capacity building are top priorities for the ministry's leadership. Haidan underscored the importance of enhancing security vigilance, improving readiness, and increasing coordination among various security agencies to ensure stability, apprehend wanted individuals, and prevent any attempts to undermine public security.
