In a statement released on September 30, 2024, Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Bin Mubarak expressed his firm belief that Marib will be the force to "crush the theocracy." His conviction, he stated, was solidified during his recent visit to the province, where he witnessed firsthand the unwavering spirit of the Yemeni people.

In a series of posts on social media X & seen by Barran Press, Bin Mubarak shared his impressions of Marib, highlighting the city as a source of inspiration and hope in the ongoing struggle to restore the state. "From Marib, we draw strength and envision victory in this critical battle," he wrote.

The Prime Minister characterized Marib as the "solid pillar" upon which the foundations of the republic and the values of freedom and dignity stand. He noted that the city holds a banner of resistance in one hand and a commitment to development in the other.

Throughout his visit, Bin Mubarak engaged with military leaders, security forces, local authorities, tribal leaders, academics, and citizens, emphasizing a shared sense of responsibility among all groups present. "Our mission is clear, and our enemy is one," he declared, reaffirming the government's commitment to supporting Marib until victory is achieved.

He praised the military, resistance fighters, and local tribes for their ongoing struggles, stating, "History will immortalize their sacrifices in letters of light. We honor the wounded and mourn the martyrs of our nation." Bin Mubarak reiterated that the needs of the armed forces, security personnel, and all forms of resistance are priorities for the government, along with care for the wounded and support for the families of the fallen.

On September 25, 2024, Bin Mubarak arrived in Marib alongside several ministers, coinciding with the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution. During his visit, he participated in government meetings with local leaders, military commanders, and tribal figures and inaugurated various developmental projects in the province.

He also attended the ceremonial lighting of the main torch for the anniversary celebrations, which included a cultural event and a symbolic military display in honor of the national holiday.
