October 9, 2024 — Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Al-Daari returned to Aden, the country's temporary capital, on Wednesday following a significant visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to the official Yemeni Army website, September Net, Al-Daari met with several officials from the Saudi Ministry of Defense, the Joint Forces Command, and the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, as well as ambassadors from friendly countries.

During the visit, described as "important," Al-Daari discussed enhancing military and security cooperation, combating terrorism, and strengthening maritime security amid ongoing hostile actions from the Houthi militia, which poses a threat to Yemen's stability and regional maritime routes.

Al-Daari arrived in Saudi Arabia on September 23, 2024, as part of the Yemeni government's efforts to seek support in addressing military, security, and economic challenges facing the country.
