A women's forum held on Saturday in Marib, northeastern Yemen, focused on the crucial role of female journalists in shaping a new Yemen. The Governance Female Journalists Team organized the event in collaboration with the Yamaniyat Development Association, under the theme "From Revolution to Peace: Female Journalists in Building a New Yemen."

As reported by the official Saba News Agency, the attendees included Abdulrahman Al-Nahari, the Deputy Minister of Culture, alongside various journalists and female leaders.

The forum featured four presentations by experts, including Dr. Yahya Al-Ahmadi from the Media Department at the Saba Region University, journalist and writer Jamal Anam, and journalists Hajar Al-Hajili and Bushra Al-Muzajji. They discussed women's roles in the struggle and awareness campaigns during the 26th September and 14th October revolutions, highlighting their contributions to the success of both movements as well as to national development.

The discussions also addressed current challenges facing the nation and the role of women in overcoming them to achieve peace, restore the state, and build a new federal Yemen.

Participants emphasized the importance of enhancing women's roles in decision-making, education, and training. They called for the formation of a coalition of women's networks, initiatives, and organizations to further empower women in society.
