On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the draw for the "Hassan Farhan bin Jalal" championship was held, organized by the Youth and Sports Office in Marib City, located in the Marib Governorate of northeastern Yemen. The event is funded by the Yemen Oil Company, Marib branch.

A total of 22 teams participated in the draw, which were divided into three levels. The first level consists of eight teams distributed across five groups, while the second and third levels include 14 teams competing in preliminary knockout rounds. From these knockout stages, seven teams will qualify to complete the five group stages.

The draw resulted in the following group allocations:

• Group A: Nasr, Hamas, and the winner of match 3
• Group B: Ajal Sabaa, Ittihad, and the winner of match 4
• Group C: Al-Rasheed, Al-Fateh, and the winner of match 5
• Group D: Malook Sabaa, the winner of Match 1, and the winner of Match 6
• Group E: Safer, the winner of match 2, and the winner of match 7

The championship is set to kick off on November 1, with matches played in a group stage format. The top team from each group, along with three second-placed teams, will advance to the next round.
