TAIZ, YEMEN — On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, two students were injured when a shell fired by the Houthi group, designated as a terrorist organization by many countries, struck Al-Hanaya School in western Taiz, southwestern Yemen.
According to the official Saba News Agency, local sources reported that the attack resulted in injuries to students Musa Mohammed Balabl and Afif Mansour Ahmed Thabet, and caused significant damage to the school building.
This incident is described as yet another "terrorist crime" in a long series of violations committed by Houthi militias against Yemeni civilians, particularly targeting educational institutions and civilian facilities.
