Sultan Al-Aradah Reviews Interior Ministry Performance and Service Improvements

On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Sultan al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, convened a meeting to discuss the performance of various sectors within the Ministry of Interior and explore ways to enhance their services in the liberated governorates. The meeting took place in Marib, northeastern Yemen.

Attendees included Major General Mohammed Aboud, Deputy Minister of Interior; Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri, Deputy Minister for Civil Services; Major General Mohammed Baharoun, Deputy for Civil Status; and Major General Yahya Hamid, Director General of Marib Police. They were joined by members of the ministerial committee and directors from various specialized offices, according to the official Saba News Agency.

During the meeting, al-Aradah listened to reports from interior ministry leaders regarding their field visits and received briefings on the operational status of several service sectors. The discussions included statistics on services provided in Marib and other liberated areas since the beginning of the year.

Al-Aradah praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior's leadership in enhancing services and improving the performance and efficiency of its personnel. He highlighted the importance of adopting modern systems and technologies, particularly the implementation of the smart electronic card service.

He emphasized the need to intensify these efforts and improve coordination among all ministry sectors and branches in the provinces, aiming to assess achievements, address shortcomings, and overcome challenges with available resources.
