Medical sources reported on Friday, October 25, 2024, that approximately 90 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since the early hours of the day.

According to statements relayed by Al Jazeera, 81 Palestinians died in the attacks, with 42 of those fatalities occurring in northern Gaza. The death toll later rose to 88.

Al Jazeera's correspondent noted that 25 Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli bombardments targeting two homes in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. Additionally, 11 Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an airstrike on the Al-Mashtal area in the northwest of Gaza City, with some injuries reported as critical, resulting in extensive damage to the targeted site.

Nine more Palestinians were reported dead following an Israeli strike on a gathering of civilians in the northern beach area west of Gaza City. Airstrikes also targeted the vicinity of the Open University of Al-Quds and the port area in western Gaza, leading to further casualties and injuries.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been conducting a military campaign against Gaza, described by many as a genocide, resulting in over 143,000 Palestinian casualties, primarily among children and women, along with more than 10,000 individuals reported missing amid unprecedented destruction and a humanitarian crisis.
