On Sunday, October 27, 2024, security sources in Marib province, northeastern Yemen, reported the arrest of three individuals accused of committing murder just hours after the crime occurred in the Marib Valley district.

According to a source who spoke to Barran Press, the suspects—identified as Hussain Ali Kharsan, Ayman Al-Imad, and Talib Hassan Al-Ateer—are charged with the murder of a young man named Saud Badr Suweilih in the Al-Ramsa area of Marib Valley.

The source confirmed that the suspects killed Suweilih in a deserted area and subsequently disposed of his body after stealing his money before fleeing to an unknown location.

The victim's family promptly reported the incident to the Criminal Investigation Department in Marib, which initiated a search and inquiry process. This led to the identification of individuals who were with the victim when he left a local market for the area where the crime took place.

Once the investigation pinpointed the suspects' locations, security forces acted quickly to apprehend them, and they have since been detained in a prison in Marib city.
