In the embassy's statement, it was noted: “The deadline for the 2026 Diversity Visa Lottery applications has been extended by two additional days. You can now apply until November 7. Don’t miss this opportunity!” The announcement included a link to the official application site: dvprogram.state.gov.
According to the embassy, there are 55,000 visas available this year for applicants from countries with low immigration rates, including Yemen. The Diversity Visa Lottery is part of a government program that offers individuals the chance to obtain permanent residency in the United States.
To qualify for the visa, applicants must be born in eligible countries and have at least a high school diploma or two years of work experience. The U.S. Department of State updates the list of eligible countries annually.
