Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on his election victory during a phone call on November 6, 2024. He expressed his hope to enhance the historical and strategic relations between the two countries during Trump's upcoming presidency.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Crown Prince extended his congratulations to Trump, who earlier in the day announced what he termed a "historic victory" in the presidential elections.

The report noted that Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the Kingdom's desire to strengthen the longstanding ties that connect Saudi Arabia and the United States, wishing prosperity and progress for the American people under Trump's leadership.

In response, President Trump expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince for his warm wishes and appreciation for the American people.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump declared his "historic victory" in the U.S. presidential election, although official final results have yet to be announced. The incoming president is expected to be inaugurated on January 20, 2025.
