The Technical Industrial Institute in Marib announced on November 10, 2024, the commencement of registration for its first batch in five technological specialties, offering a higher technical diploma following high school. The registration period will continue until November 11.
According to the institute's director, Mahmoud Al-Dhib, the available specializations include: Surveying and Roads, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Automotive Mechanics, General Electricity, and Mobile Phone Maintenance. This was reported by the official Yemeni news agency Saba.
Al-Dhib emphasized that the institute has been equipped with modern laboratories and practical workshops, alongside qualified instructors, to ensure that graduates possess the technical skills required by the labor market and contribute to development and reconstruction efforts.
He stated, "The selection of these specialties was based on a market study of its needs, enabling graduates to either enter the job market or start their own projects, equipped with the skills and practical experiences gained during their two years of training at the institute."
Al-Dhib urged high school graduates interested in competing for a place to submit their applications quickly, noting that "seats are limited."
