A local source in Marib Governorate, northeastern Yemen, reported on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, that a passenger bus caught fire on the international road in the Safer area, east of the governorate.
The source told "Barran Press" that a fire broke out in a passenger bus on the international road near the "Rodan" commercial complex on Safer Road, east of Marib. The source confirmed that all passengers, the bus driver, and his assistant were safe.

Fire trucks from the Safer oil facility attempted to extinguish the blaze, but the fire had already engulfed the entire bus, causing material losses, including the burning of some passengers' belongings and the complete destruction of the bus.
The source noted that the bus, which operates between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, caught fire under unknown circumstances as of the time of writing (9 PM).
