On November 13, 2024, Sultan Al-Arada, a member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between security personnel and the community during a graduation ceremony for three specialized training courses at the General Police Training Center in Marib.

In his remarks, Al-Arada highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation and coordination between security forces and the public, stressing the importance of maintaining mutual trust and raising community awareness about the necessity of upholding law and order.

He underscored the importance of reporting any destructive activities that threaten community security and stability, reiterating the significance of specialized training for all members of security and police forces. This, he argued, is essential for building a robust and professional security institution capable of ensuring safety and enforcing the rule of law.

Al-Arada pointed out that specialized courses contribute to the development and performance improvement of security agencies, enhancing the skills of their personnel to effectively fulfill their duties. He noted that establishing security foundations is a shared responsibility, extending beyond the police to encompass all community members and institutions.

He encouraged graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired during their training in their fieldwork and reaffirmed his commitment to providing necessary support to all security units. He also stressed the importance of ongoing development and training for personnel to ensure they are prepared to tackle various challenges effectively.

Additionally, Al-Arada expressed gratitude to the armed forces, security personnel, and popular resistance members for their significant sacrifices. He praised the leadership of the Presidential Council for prioritizing continuous training and the necessary support for specialized security and military courses.

Brigadier General Khaled Al-Sobahi, director of the General Police Training Center in Marib, explained that the training courses, which lasted several months, aimed to qualify various security personnel in three key areas: trainer qualification, special operations, and skills enhancement as part of the center's 2024 training program.

The graduation ceremony featured skill demonstrations and combat drills, showcasing the graduates' high physical fitness and proficiency in marksmanship.
