On November 19, 2024, the Arab Coalition supporting the legitimate government in Yemen reiterated its commitment to continue providing military and humanitarian assistance to the recognized Yemeni government and the Presidential Leadership Council.

This commitment was expressed by Major General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, commander of the coalition's joint forces, during a meeting with Council member Aidarus Al-Zoubaidi at the coalition's headquarters in Riyadh.

Al-Salman stated that the "Support Coalition will remain a key partner in achieving stability and peace in Yemen and the region," according to the Yemeni news agency Saba.

The two sides discussed recent developments on various military fronts and ways to enhance logistical and military support for Yemen's armed and security forces, which is crucial for strengthening their capacity to face ongoing challenges and threats, thereby contributing to regional security and stability.

The meeting also addressed joint efforts to combat terrorist organizations and track down elements threatening security and stability, as well as strategies to enhance operational coordination and strategic planning in response to current developments.

In this context, Aidarus Al-Zoubaidi emphasized the importance of continued joint coordination between field forces and the coalition's leadership to preserve the military and security gains achieved in recent periods.

Al-Zoubaidi, who also leads the Southern Transitional Council, acknowledged that "the efforts of the Arab Coalition are a fundamental pillar in addressing the challenges facing our country and the region."

On October 2, the recognized Yemeni government’s Prime Minister, Ahmed bin Mubarak, discussed aspects of integration and coordination between the government and coalition forces with Major General Al-Salman, presenting the government's vision for enhancing the performance of military and security institutions and the necessary support from the coalition.
