The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning announced on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, that cold weather will persist in five Yemeni provinces over the coming hours.

In its daily bulletin, the center indicated that mountainous regions, particularly in Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, and Saada, are expected to experience cold conditions during the night and early morning hours.

The report also noted relatively cool weather in the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhale'e, Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout, with the formation of rain-bearing cumulus clouds over parts of Ibb, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada during the afternoon and evening.

Coastal areas are forecasted to have partly to mostly cloudy skies, with scattered showers possible along the northwestern coasts of Hajjah and Al-Hodeidah. Moderate to brisk winds are expected along the western coastline and at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

In the desert regions, clear skies are anticipated, becoming relatively cool during the night and early morning, with moderate winds stirring dust and sand during the day.

The National Center for Meteorology warned residents in mountainous areas to take precautions against the cold weather, especially children, school students, the elderly, and workers during nighttime and early morning hours.
