Al-Dhale'e, Yemen – A local source reported on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, that a vegetable vendor was killed by a gunman affiliated with the Houthi movement, which is classified as a terrorist organization internationally, in Al-Dhale'e province, southern Yemen.

The source identified the assailant as "Mohammed Al-Haidari," who works for the Houthi group in the Public Works Office in the Damt district. The victim, "Bakil Abdulmalik Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Humam," was shot after he reportedly resisted an attempt by Al-Haidari to extort money from him.

Al-Hamam, originally from the Habish area in Ibb province, operated a vegetable stand in Damt, located north of Al-Dhale'e province. This incident highlights ongoing tensions and violence in regions affected by the Houthi conflict.
