Kuwait City, Kuwait – Kuwaiti researcher Iman Al-Ajmi has gifted the Yemeni library full literary and material rights to her book titled The Poetry of Abdullah Al-Bardouni: Values of Authenticity and Calls for Modernity and Societal Update. This gesture was announced on Saturday, November 30, 2024, by the Yemeni news agency Saba.

Al-Ajmi presented copies of her distinguished publication to Yahya Al-Thalaya, the head of the Yemeni General Book Authority, along with a formal waiver of rights for future editions. This occurred during the closing events of the Kuwait International Book Fair.

In her statement, Al-Ajmi described her gift as a symbolic gesture to the Yemeni people and its young intellectuals, aiming to honor the late Al-Bardouni as a poet, critic, writer, and historian.

Yahya Al-Thalaya expressed gratitude to Iman Al-Ajmi, highlighting Kuwait's early leadership in engaging with Yemeni literature, thought, and art, as well as the country’s significant role in advancing Yemen's cultural sector.
