On Sunday, December 1, 2024, the Hadhrami Elite Forces in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen, announced the seizure of seven kilograms of hashish at a security checkpoint in the region.
According to a statement from the command and control center of the Hadhrami Elite Forces, obtained by Bran Press, personnel at the "Dafiqah" checkpoint, located on the eastern entrance to the city of Mukalla, successfully intercepted the drugs.
The statement detailed that the hashish was in the possession of two individuals attempting to pass through the checkpoint. The two suspects, along with the seized drugs, have been referred to the relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.
